"Bloom" is the fourth studio album by American dream pop duo Beach House. It was released on May 15, 2012, by Sub Pop Records and Bella Union. The album was recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, Texas, and was produced by Chris Coady, who has worked with other indie rock acts such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV on the Radio.
The album features ten tracks, all of which were written by members Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally. The duo's signature dreamy and atmospheric sound is prominent throughout the album, with Legrand's vocals and Scally's intricate guitar work complementing each other perfectly.
"Bloom" was met with critical acclaim upon its release and is considered by many to be Beach House's breakthrough album. The album's lead single, "Myth," was released on March 7, 2012, and was accompanied by a music video directed by French filmmaker Eric Wareheim.
